Some things are true whether you believe them or not. If everyone still believed the world is still flat, would it be flat? Think about if you believed every thing you heard was a good idea as you were first exposed to it. More importantly, don't believe anything you think about yourself the first time you experience it. Maybe you didn't get picked for that promotion the first time around or an invitation to your friends wedding. Does this make it true you are not a good for that job as you grow in knowledge, experience, and learning? Or not a good friend? If you believe it to be true, how is it limiting you for trying the next go round? Who you really are is not the same as who you think you are. You have the choice to decide the person you want to be. "Facts are the enemy of truth." - Miguel de Cervantes
