Be Intentional

Text messages, social media, dm’s, whatever it is, the common denominator is “distraction”. It has become so normal to focus our time on each of these things and often times all at once. Take a moment to think about it. You’re on a Zoom call, you get a text message from a friend, a co-worker is calling, and to top it off it‘s almost lunch and your thinking about how hungry you are. Research shows that taking 10 minutes at the start of your day to focus on “YOU” makes a difference. It may be a short meditation, prayer, breathing exercise, whatever it is that makes you feel a sense of gratitude and appreciation. Take a moment to set your compass each day and see where it leads you.
